Read More...]]> Detroit Auto Show Outreach- January 2012. 85 people volunteered to help rescue victims! We got out soap and materials to 54 hotels with a 91% success rate- 8,000 bars of soap.  One missing teen was identified to one of our teams and was reported to authorities. Ads on backpage went from 113 ads prior to the show, to 332 during and 90 after the show ended.

Indianapolis Super Bowl Outreach- February 2012. 189 people volunteered for the two day outreach. We got out soap and materials to 200 hotels- 40,000 bars of soap. Free International interns trained at least 40 motel staff on the signs of human trafficking. And we had a 75% success rate. Backpage ads were 22 prior to the event, to 269 during the superbowl and 85 after. 2 girls were rescued and returned home, one missing teen was found working in a strip club and others were spotted by motel staff.

Read More...]]> I was up at 330 am on Sunday thinking of the Auto Show. yes, nervous about going, but also excited to see where God leads this SOAP project during the auto show! I went on to Backpage.com Detroit and counted how many girls are ‘up for sale’. There were 288 girls advertised for sale!!!! I couldnt believe it. I am really terrified to see how many this increases to DURING the Auto Show! Generally, the ads quadruple during an event. This means that it will increase to 1152 girls for sale next month!!!!!!!!!!!!

We need LOTS of soap. The outreach is Jan 6th and 7th. I need to place the order for the soap a week before. My goal is to get 20 cases, 20,000 bars. One case is $150. Please help !

But what 15 year old would be willingly doing that, in the morning? when she should be in school, worried about what outfit to wear that day and planning her fun weekend! A US District Attorney stated it perfectly, “I never met a juvenile in prostitution that didn’t have a pimp!” that is human trafficking in our country!

Read More...]]> Saw this article that Hotels are now becoming the New trafficking locations. (yea, we Knew this!) But always nice to see in print. Girls are being taken to motels to ‘service’ men. They rent the hotel room, keep it all night and use it repeatedly until they make their ‘quota’ and return to their pimp. they usually are very transient and taken to many cities by their pimp and stay at cheap motels as well.
