Teresa, I would like to say thank-you. On November 17, 2009 my son & I were at your presentation at WMU in Michigan. With standing room only, I know that your message was recieved both personally and professionally by many. I also want to let you know that there is now a bulletin board next to the Social Sciences offices at KCC displaying information on Human Trafficking. Students have already begun making copies of the brochures which were available at WMU. Once again, I thank you for your valor and dedication to help others. May God lead your paths.

I want to thank you for sharing your story with the group at Western Michigan University yesterday. Your story has opened my eyes to a tragedy I didn't know existed. You are doing a selfless thing, and I am honored to have been able to meet you. I now know a few ways to help keep myself and others around me more safe. God bless you.

Ms. Flores I recently heard your presentaion at my school. As a parent I wish you would have included in your message that children should always tell their parents when bad things happen to them regardless of the circumstances. If you were not going to say which ethnic group your captors were, why bring up the topic at all? As an African American I took offense at you comparing Domestic Trafficking to slavery also your reference to girls that "look like me", white and blonde wouuld imply young black girls may not be at risk. Hi Teresa! I'm so glad that I finally had an opportunity to hear you and the others speak in Columbus, OH last Saturday with the Zonta group of women. I just ordered your second book. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about this topic and helping to spread the word about it. Human trafficking must be stopped; it is so evil! Theresa: I heard you at Christ Community in Roseville, MI. I am so inspired and I have been communicating with Dr. Jeff about Gracehaven. I believe even before I heard you speak God was talking to me about doing something for children. I was compelled by the spirit to attend that night even though I was obligated somewhere else.
